Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Develop quantum simulation models for drug discovery and material science
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit stability protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Present findings at quantum computing symposums including Q2B 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system interfaces
- Clearance for DOE quantum security protocols preferred
