Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era hardware capabilities
- Lead a team of 8+ quantum physicists and software engineers in algorithm development
- Collaborate with NASA, MIT, and CERN on quantum-resistant cryptography initiatives
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through DARPA and NSF proposals
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and Science journals
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions for finance and healthcare sectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of leading high-impact research teams
