Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Develop error correction frameworks achieving fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world industrial applications
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams on cryogenic control systems integration
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge quantum programming languages
- Author technical whitepapers on quantum advantage in computational chemistry
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting system design
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with QASM, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization tools
