Responsibilities
- Design next-generation quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and scalability
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping and testing quantum hardware prototypes
- Establish quantum security frameworks for enterprise clients in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Author technical whitepapers and patents for novel quantum computational methodologies
- Partner with academic institutions to advance quantum information science research
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing or theoretical physics journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant system design
- Proficiency in low-level quantum hardware control and cryogenic engineering
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy
- Experience securing $10M+ in quantum computing research funding or grants
