Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to build quantum processors
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for practical enterprise applications
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with academic partners to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science
- Develop quantum cloud integration APIs for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware/software development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience leading complex R&D projects with $10M+ budgets
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical systems
- Security clearance eligibility (for government collaborations)
