Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy integrated technology ecosystems for Olympic venues, including 5G networks, IoT infrastructure, and real-time data analytics
- Lead development of immersive fan experiences through AR/VR platforms and metaverse integrations
- Oversee AI-powered athlete performance tracking and biometric monitoring systems
- Manage cybersecurity protocols for critical infrastructure handling sensitive athlete and spectator data
- Coordinate with sustainability teams to implement zero-carbon tech solutions across all operations
- Direct vendor relationships with tech partners including cloud providers, hardware manufacturers, and software developers
- Present technology roadmaps to IOC stakeholders and secure approval for multi-year innovation plans
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in large-scale event or sports tech
- Proven expertise in IoT, AI/ML, AR/VR, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $50M for tech infrastructure projects
- Certified in ISO 27001 compliance and data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA)
- Track record of delivering complex tech projects on aggressive deadlines
- Strong network within Olympic committees, tech vendors, and innovation hubs
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in English with additional languages (Spanish/French) preferred
