Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Design future-state scenarios and impact assessments for global enterprises
- Facilitate strategic workshops with CxOs to align innovation portfolios with 2026 market realities
- Produce forward-looking thought leadership published in industry whitepapers and journals
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-departmental innovation ecosystems
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic research labs and government innovation hubs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption with 90%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex futures to executive audiences
- Published author in foresight publications or speaker at global innovation forums
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented innovation strategies from concept to commercialization
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or APF)
