Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps for emerging tech domains (AI ethics, quantum applications, biotech convergence)
- Lead scenario planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on 2026 market landscapes
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 18-36 month commercialization windows
- Design and pilot minimum viable products for future-focused use cases
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Manage a portfolio of innovation projects with $1M+ annual budgets
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching commercially successful emerging tech solutions
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, trend mapping)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or industry disruption
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks (Lean Startup, Design Sprints)
