Responsibilities
- Develop and execute forward-looking innovation roadmaps spanning quantum AI, biotechnology convergence, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen technologies in our Silicon Valley Innovation Lab
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business cases for executive stakeholders
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech frameworks across product development lifecycles
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and ethical innovation principles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 3+ years market impact
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred) or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and predict technology adoption curves
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives from concept to global market deployment
