Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate resilience systems)
- Develop market entry strategies for breakthrough innovations with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging paradigms in biotech, space tech, and decentralized networks
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Present visionary roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology commercialization
- Proven track record launching products with exponential growth potential
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI alignment
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology certification
- Public speaking experience at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020-2025 technology predictions
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
