Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 innovation roadmaps across AI, quantum, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptive opportunities
- Translate technical capabilities into strategic business models and go-to-market strategies
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with corporate vision
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and secure buy-in for high-risk/high-reward projects
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global research networks and academic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market transformation impact
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Experience securing $5M+ budgets for experimental initiatives
- Strong network with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Portfolio of published thought leadership or patents in emerging technologies
