Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging technologies
- Conduct scenario planning for quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on long-term technology impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS in Engineering, or PhD preferred)
- Published work on technology trends or future-focused strategy
- Strong proficiency in strategic planning tools and foresight methodologies
