Responsibilities
- Architect 3-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological trends
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Develop patent strategies and IP portfolios for future technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors
- Partner with venture capital firms to scout next-gen startups
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline success
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology consulting
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Proven track record in launching tech-forward products/services
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong financial modeling for R&D investment decisions
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) preferred
- Prior experience in Fortune 500 innovation leadership
