Responsibilities
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps for 2026 across AI, quantum computing, and climate tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with leading academic institutions and venture capital firms
- Develop patent strategies for emerging technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists through our Horizon Leadership Program
- Author industry thought leadership on 2026 technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling futuristic concepts to commercial viability
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex futures scenarios
- PhD or equivalent in relevant STEM field with peer-reviewed publications
