Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technological roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum AI and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, data scientists, and industrial designers
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with global research institutions
- Translate futuristic concepts into viable business models with 10x ROI potential
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital consortiums
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for disruptive technologies
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with agile resource allocation
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in emerging technology fields (Quantum Computing, Synthetic Biology, etc.)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with proven 10x innovation track record
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on future technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Fluency in at least two technical programming languages (Python, R, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Portfolio of commercialized future-focused products or platforms
