Responsibilities
- Design and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with global sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing and decentralized AI systems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year adoption potential
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotechnology applications
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and lead cross-continental virtual teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Innovation, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in emerging technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 disruptive tech products/services
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AI governance, or clean tech ecosystems
- Experience with horizon scanning and technology roadmapping methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management across C-suite, investors, and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Ability to secure government innovation grants and private funding
