Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing applications and generative AI governance
- Lead R&D initiatives in neuromorphic computing and biotech convergence
- Partner with venture capital teams to incubate spin-off technologies
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and decentralized networks
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and government stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget across 15+ research pods
- Coordinate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on joint ventures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in emerging technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating leadership in AI/ML deployment at scale
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and blockchain architectures
- Experience securing federal grants for advanced research projects
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and simulation modeling tools
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TFIA or equivalent)
