Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation strategy with business objectives
- Secure $2M+ in funding for experimental projects through stakeholder presentations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders for R&D acceleration
- Document and disseminate learnings via white papers, patents, and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology forecasting methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ innovation projects with measurable outcomes
