Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through strategic partnerships
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Patent 3+ emerging technologies annually
- Mentor junior talent in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech R&D with 5+ in leadership roles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Physics
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent
- Experience with DARPA/IARPA grant processes
- Portfolio of commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar credential
