Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including AI autonomy systems and quantum-resistant cryptography
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with emerging tech trends and market disruptions
- Manage a $15M+ annual R&D budget across quantum computing, biotech integration, and space tech ventures
- Partner with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies to pioneer regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
- Build and lead a diverse team of futurists, engineers, and domain specialists
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary 2026-era technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation leadership with proven experience in AI, quantum, or biotech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Track record of launching at least two industry-defining products or platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential tech trends (Moore's Law 2.0, quantum advantage)
- Expertise in agile development for complex R&D projects
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
