- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and implementing cutting-edge solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech) for strategic adoption
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget and ensure ROI on experimental projects
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to the board of directors
- Mentor a team of 8+ innovation specialists and junior strategists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation or strategic leadership roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 industry-disrupting products
- Expertise in agile development, venture capital processes, and tech commercialization
- Strong understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech practices
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
