- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with industry disruptors and research institutions
- Present innovation roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Drive R&D investments in future-focused technologies with 5-10 year horizons
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI on long-term projects
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers in next-gen technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, or quantum computing)
- Experience with scenario planning and long-term technology forecasting
- Strong financial acumen for managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
