Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 innovation roadmap aligning with UN SDGs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI and biotech solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and venture capital
- Present quarterly disruption briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical innovation frameworks
- Monitor global tech trends and patent landscapes for competitive advantage
Qualifications
- PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling technologies from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Strong network with venture capitalists and innovation policymakers
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience managing $3M+ innovation budgets and P&L
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese for global collaboration
