Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI governance, and climate tech verticals
- Lead R&D initiatives targeting 2026 breakthrough milestones in decentralized systems
- Manage cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget through strategic stakeholder alignment
- Establish industry partnerships with NASA, IBM Research, and EU Horizon Europe
- Present quarterly technology forecasts to C-suite and board committees
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotech applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of shipping 2020+ tech innovations (quantum/AI/climate focus)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech societal impact
- Experience managing $10M+ R&D budgets and cross-continental teams
- Expert knowledge of EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act, and global tech governance
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Public speaking record at Davos, TED, or equivalent high-impact forums
