Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technology milestones
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps for emerging tech domains
- Drive patent development and IP portfolio strategy
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with business objectives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Present findings to industry panels and academic forums
- Mentor next-gen innovators through our FutureFoundry program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record in scaling R&D from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech)
- Published research or patents in future technology fields
- Experience managing global innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Advanced degree in STEM field or equivalent innovation credentials
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and innovation frameworks (e.g., Stage-Gate)
