Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 innovation horizons
- Lead scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive intelligence for disruptive tech trends
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into commercial offerings
- Present strategic visions to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and academic researchers
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 10+ year impact potential
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
