Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with 3-year commercialization roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with business objectives and market disruption
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to anticipate technological disruptions and competitive threats
- Build and maintain relationships with leading research institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and stakeholders with compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership, with proven experience in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills with demonstrated impact on business outcomes
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem (VCs, labs, Fortune 500 innovation teams)
- Published thought leadership on technology futures (white papers, patents, or keynote presentations)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
