Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ emerging innovations including quantum computing, neuro interfaces, and AI consciousness frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with transformative potential
- Lead scenario planning for technological convergence points and paradigm shifts
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives and market evolution
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, startup, and industry innovation partners
- Author thought leadership on technology futures and their societal implications
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-tech adoption and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or futurist research roles
- Proven expertise in emerging tech ecosystems (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional analytical capabilities for modeling complex technological trajectories
- Demonstrated success in translating future-tech insights into actionable business strategies
- Strong network within global innovation communities and research institutions
- Published thought leadership on technology evolution or disruption
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
