Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Produce strategic whitepapers and scenario-planning models for emerging tech paradigms
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Present strategic vision to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic factors impacting technological adoption timelines
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies and speculative design
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech research leadership
- Published work in peer-reviewed futurist journals or major industry publications
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and investment committees
- Membership in World Future Society or Association of Professional Futurists
