Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 product launches aligned with market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-vision initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on industry evolution and societal impact
- Advise executive leadership on long-term R&D investments and pivot strategies
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic consulting, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of predicting tech trends (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, nanotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
