Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology adoption patterns across industries
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neurotech) into enterprise ecosystems
- Produce actionable scenario-planning models for climate-resilient infrastructure and circular economy transitions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing 2026-readiness initiatives for client organizations
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic consulting, futures research, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development pathways)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (whitepapers, industry journals)
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or relevant field required
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in virtual/distributed environments
