Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and social trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster future-oriented thinking and organizational alignment
- Present insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into tangible product development and go-to-market strategies
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitor landscape to maintain competitive advantage
- Author thought leadership publications and industry forecasts to position Nexus Horizons as a future authority
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 or tech startup
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, APF) or innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable business impact
- Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategic insights
