Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and their business implications through 2026+
- Develop and publish annual 'Horizon Scanning' reports with 5-year strategic forecasts
- Design innovation frameworks for future-proofing product roadmaps and customer experiences
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to prepare for disruptive futures
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI ethics, quantum applications, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist or business strategy publications
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
