Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) with 3-5 year impact projections
- Develop strategic frameworks for clients navigating 2026's regulatory landscape (AI governance, carbon markets, digital sovereignty)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on climate adaptation and workforce transformation
- Produce trend reports with actionable recommendations for R&D investment allocation
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on exponential technology forecasting
- Mentor junior futurists using proprietary foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, System Dynamics)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 clients on 2020-2030 technology transitions
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
