Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence) and forecast industry shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for product roadmaps aligned with 2026 societal and economic projections
- Lead innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present trend insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and research institutions to pioneer breakthrough innovations
- Author thought leadership publications on future-focused business strategy
- Manage a $2M annual innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 strategic frameworks implemented at scale
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights
