In this high-impact position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to shape our 5-year innovation roadmap, lead cross-functional teams in developing next-generation products, and represent our thought leadership at global forums. Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable technologies
- Develop annual '2026 Foresight Report' with strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Architect and pilot innovation labs for emerging tech validation (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Partner with product teams to commercialize futuristic solutions with 3-5 year runway
- Build and mentor a Future Intelligence team of interdisciplinary specialists
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at Davos, CES, and exclusive industry summits
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track adoption curves of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Foresight, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech, or quantum applications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Experience securing >$5M in innovation funding from VCs or corporate partners
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or MIT Technology Review
