Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence) and develop strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify 2026 market opportunities and disruption vectors
- Produce whitepapers and scenario forecasts for C-suite stakeholders and venture partners
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our innovation lab
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech summits and trend forecasting forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership channels
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-relevant domains: quantum AI, climate tech, or neuro-interfaces
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into actionable business strategy
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, journals, keynotes)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools and scenario modeling frameworks
