Responsibilities
- Map and analyze 2026 technology, market, and societal trends through proprietary Horizon Scanning methodology
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for AI integration, quantum computing adoption, and sustainable infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Teams' to prototype next-gen solutions in our innovation incubators
- Present quarterly foresight briefings to the board and executive leadership with data-backed scenarios
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and disruptive startups
- Author Horizon Dynamics' annual 'Future State' industry forecast report
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leadership Academy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, energy)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
