Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize emerging technologies, social shifts, and economic indicators to develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Present trend-driven insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight database with predictive modeling capabilities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to incubate moonshot projects with 5-10 year commercialization horizons
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists using structured scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning frameworks
- Proficiency in AI-driven forecasting tools and data visualization platforms
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience working with Fortune 500 executives on transformational initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating successful long-term trend prediction accuracy
