Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026+ market shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for product roadmaps and business strategy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation initiatives
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges (AI ethics, quantum computing, etc.)
- Produce executive-ready trend reports with data-driven strategic recommendations
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists on horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused tech roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized solutions
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend mapping frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, AR/VR)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Horizon Scan, Delphi method)
