Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year strategic technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and ethics teams
- Anticipate global tech policy shifts and advise executive leadership on adaptive strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author thought leadership papers on the societal impact of emerging technologies
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Manage $50M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum/AI convergence (preferred)
- Expertise in technology ethics frameworks (IEEE, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations to 1M+ user bases
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing architectures and neural-symbolic AI
- Security clearance eligibility (for government collaboration projects)
