Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers and engineers in moonshot projects
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $50M+ market potential
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-generation solutions
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members for strategic alignment
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor a cohort of futurist associates through our Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic foresight at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Professional certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS)
