Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology impact assessments across AI, biotech, and quantum sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future scenarios with stakeholders
- Produce annual 'Horizon 2026' strategic report for executive board review
- Manage partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA initiatives
- Design and implement innovation sprints for 2026-proofing current business models
- Present future-vision keynotes at global tech conferences (CES, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work on 2020-2030 technology trends in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in scenario planning and systems thinking frameworks
- Proficiency with trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, Trend Hunter)
- Experience working with exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategy implementations
