Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast industry shifts by 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development cycles
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on disruptive market forces
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market opportunities through scenario modeling and risk assessment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
- Track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
