Your insights will directly shape product roadmaps, investment priorities, and market expansion initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology and societal foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Produce actionable strategic briefings for executive leadership on disruptive innovations (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with future market demands
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and think tanks to access cutting-edge knowledge
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data modeling and predictive analytics
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors with compelling visual narratives
- Mentor a team of innovation analysts in futurist methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning techniques, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, neurotech, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or journals
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSD preferred)
