Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Analyze global megatrends (climate resilience, demographic shifts, geopolitical shifts) to identify business opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Build scenario models for potential futures, quantifying impact on business operations and revenue
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring strategic initiatives against future-state benchmarks
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating past futurist projects with measurable business impact
