As a cornerstone of our executive strategy team, you'll collaborate with C-suite leaders, tech pioneers, and global institutions to identify paradigm shifts in AI, biotech, climate resilience, and human augmentation. Your insights will directly influence product development, market expansion, and long-term capital allocation in the rapidly evolving landscape of 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop quantifiable future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for C-suite decision-making with 3-5 year vision horizons
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines and product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global futurism forums
- Establish cross-functional 'Future Councils' to embed foresight into organizational DNA
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental megatrends with predictive modeling frameworks
- Advise board on long-term risk mitigation and opportunity capitalization strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent certification
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused organizational strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex futures into executive narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic foresight projects
- Experience working with global futures networks (e.g., WFSF, APF) preferred
