Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using predictive analytics and horizon scanning
- Lead quarterly scenario-planning workshops with executive leadership to map potential futures
- Produce monthly trend briefings on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence)
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating 5+ emerging technologies into core business operations
- Present strategic recommendations to Board of Directors and investor committees
- Mentor a team of junior futurists and build the company's foresight capabilities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for trend validation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or future scenarios
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario modeling frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic foresight implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP, APF) required
