Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from 50+ emerging technologies to identify paradigm shifts by 2026
- Develop cross-impact frameworks mapping tech convergence points (AI+quantum+biotech)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite on 2026 market disruptions
- Author white papers on ethical implications of 2026 tech adoption curves
- Partner with product teams to prototype 2026-viable solutions in our innovation sandbox
- Represent Horizon at Davos, SXSW, and IEEE 2026 symposiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Published research on 2026+ tech trajectories (peer-reviewed journals or industry reports)
- Mastery of Delphi methodology, technology roadmapping, and weak signal detection
- Experience modeling complex systems with multi-agent simulation tools
- Deep expertise in at least three 2026-critical domains: AGI governance, climate engineering, or neuro-interfaces
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Portfolio of 2026-vision artifacts (scenarios, prototypes, or policy frameworks)
