Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech paradigms (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) and develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author white papers on societal impacts of automation, biogenomics, and decentralized systems
- Design scenario-planning models for geopolitical shifts and regulatory evolutions affecting tech ecosystems
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-facing solutions using rapid iteration frameworks
- Represent Horizon at global futurist forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience with 5+ years in strategic foresight
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: synthetic biology, quantum algorithms, or climate modeling
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Experience translating complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., APF, WFS) preferred
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and AI trend analysis platforms
